SAT (Previously termed Reasoning Test)

The SAT consists of 3 sections: Critical Reading Section, Writing Section and Mathematics Section. The minimum acceptable test scores are 600 for the Critical Reading Section, 600 for the Writing Section, and 650 for the Mathematics Section.

For the SAT, all 3 sections (i.e. Critical Reading Section, Writing Section and Mathematic Section) have to be taken in one sitting. Mixing different section scores from different sittings is not permitted.

SAT Subject Tests

The SAT Subject Tests are content-based tests. 3 subjects tests should be taken. The Mathematics Level 2 subject is compulsory while the two other subjects may be of your choice.
Compulsory subjects for the Subject Tests include :

• Junior High School national examination results* (eg. Malaysia SPM, India Standard 10)
• Senior High School internal examination results* (eg. Indonesia Rapor SMA Year 10 and Year 11, Vietnam Year 10 and
Year 11) if you have not taken your senior high school national examination
• Senior High School national examination results*, if applicable (e.g. Indonesia UAN, Vietnam HSC)
• Actual IB/‘A’ Level (AQA, Brunei, Cambridge, Edexcel, Hong Kong, Maldives, Sri Lanka, London)/India Standard
12 examination results*, when available (required)
• University entrance examination results*, if any
• University academic transcripts* (if applicable)
*certified by school principal or teacher or any gazetted officer
